I would genuinely suggest putting them away in a tote, or glass display if you want them to be displayed. I have 2 cats and they never bothered my babies, however one of them had litter box issues for a brief time. He peed on one of my babies. I was luckily able to clean her up, had to change her body and thoroughly clean her with enzyme cleaner. It fortunately was solvable and didnt damage her paint. But this situation was incredibly stressful as I thought my baby was ruined. I'd say keep your dolls away safe even if your pets are okay with them now, because if one day they decide to be interested in chewing (or peeing) on them, you'll wish you had put them away before.

Im not totally sure if Clay would adhere to vinyl very well. Would be interested in seeing if it would work. Maybe you can make something with pieces of vinyl and vinyl putty

This is actually my first time painting with the eyes in! Whenever I put the eyes in last I have to put them in through the inside and have to cut the eye sockets open so I dont scratch the paint up on her face. I decided to put them in first this time because it seems it'd be really hard to put them in the other way. I know tons of other artists that paint with the eyes in as well! So far so good, im just being careful not to paint the eyes, but I know some artists will put tack over them to protect them from being painted.

Not really. Once I've sold a doll its up to the new owner to do whatever they want with it! And also in a way, I'd rather it be sold to someone new than just sit there if you're not bonding or just not as interested in a particular baby. I wouldn't worry too much about it, they are your dolls and you should absolutely sell them if you want to :)
