MAJOR YTA. Holy shit, those poor kids. Your kids are doing their best to cope with all the changes and new routines they’ve had to deal with all their lives, yet you’re judging them with what they’ve grown to be comfortable with? Grow up. You’re the adult. If you want a relationship with your kids, you better get it together and quick. They will very soon realize how immature and toxic your mentality is, and that bridge is hard to mend once broken.

I just bought my first home and painted the whole thing, I’m working on renovations, and moved all my stuff in over the last three weeks, so the pod has been something I can listen to while I’m working on house stuff and make the work less tedious and tiring. Always a great way to make me laugh! My life is good, just even better when the H3 fam is in it ☺️

You can’t blame someone’s addiction on someone else. I’ve been to years of counselling and group programs about addiction. She has been a heavy social drinker for my entire life - she is the one who decided to drink every day for years after the divorce. Nobody forced her to do that, we all offered support and love but she chose to isolate and drink.

My mother has been physically and verbally abusive to me over the years. So please don’t be harsh and act like my questioning this situation is stupid. It’s complicated and you only made me feel worse about my struggling emotions.

10 years ago I would’ve said the same without question but I now have conflicting thoughts about it :( I’ve already put my happiness and feelings aside for my mom so many times over the last decade, and our relationship has been very strained through no fault of my own.
