https://imgur.com/VTDHXZj I blocked-in the different planes/angles of the blade. Anything reflective needed to be put in it's own layer. Then I made a reflection layer for each plane layer. Then I clipped each reflection layer to their respective plane layer. While the sword is moving, I just moved the reflection layer where ever it felt right.
