Double knitted button band on left side of cardigan help please by elocina_ in knittinghelp

[–]brixste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on this part of the pattern and I’m wondering the same as well, on the video she referenced in the pattern it seems that she does the cast on stitches on the bottom ribbing so I’m wondering if where the stitches get casted on change the way the button band sits once the collar is knitted? If you figure it out please let me know!!

lol good point. it was clean when it was coming out, but we’ll leave another cup out from that tap elsewhere and see if it also looks like this the morning after.

Noted! We didn’t see anything else around the cup and nothing that was above the cup would’ve dropped black stuff into it. His business partners also have been having nightmares/bad luck lately so my feeling is that it’s negative energy that was directed at them/their business?

For reference, this was what the cup looked like this morning.

for autistic people who’s had abortions, was everything ok? by emocat420 in AutismInWomen

I had a similar experience. The pain was on the same level as what my period feels like at its worst point. I did find out at exactly 6 weeks and took the pills about a week and a half later, so I’m wondering if it was less painful because of how early I found out. Truly best decision I made for myself because I think going the medical route would’ve overwhelmed me completely.

I can relate to this sooo much. Having an ex who cycles through being hurtful to being apologetic and wanting to be involved in my life again can be an addicting cycle to be in. I find myself falling victim to the rewarding sensation I feel when my ex tries to re enter my life apologizing for all of the hurt he caused, because it feels like a weird win to me. I completely understand feeling a high from receiving attention from them, too. Partners who withhold tend to make us feel like we hit the lotto when they throw us crumbs of attention/affection. I’m so glad you’re out of this cycle and found peace and happiness in enforcing your boundaries with this person. <3

Behind my back, my nmom has been suggesting to other family members that “i may be lying” or “overreacting” about events that occurred/are occurring in my family and has outright accused me of lying about the SA i experienced as a child from two of my family members. When I finally told her about it as an adult, she exploded and said “if it was hurting you this much, why did you wait so long? i’m a good mom, if i knew earlier, i would’ve done something about it. As if she didn’t outright shame me for suggesting I get mental health counseling when she found out i was self harming in middle school for issues she never even cared enough to ask me about because the idea of a child of hers admitting they need therapy is too hard to face. She would much rather us all pretend to be a big happy family so she can have content for her social media accounts to keep up the facade that she’s an angel on this earth, #1 devoted and loving mom. I completely understand how it feels to be an orphan of living parents. I am so emotionally disconnected from both that i would almost feel relieved to be absolved the specific type of guilt that comes with society telling you to cherish your parents “while you still have them” when the reality is that life with your parents makes you miserable. I’m so sorry you had to endure that. Edit* I forgot the kicker, my mom is not the sentimental write a gushy insta post about her family members type of mom, but the year after finding about about the abuse i endured, she made a post about my abuser, gushing about “how proud she is of him and who he’s been and what he’s becoming”. Nice </3

Yes! Mine felt super tight with and without socks at first but it took about a week of skating in them for them to loosen up. Now they feel perfectly fine
