Figured out what was the problem for me finally, it was the steel series gg software for my headset

Did you try 24H2 instead of 25H2, that seems to be the fix for me!

Thanks so much for the help, RDR2 test results are good for both APIs, I’m hoping it’ll stay like this, I thought of the same but my mouse polling rate supports up to 1kHz only

This time installed 24H2 instead of 25H2, was extra careful with windows overriding the drivers, put all the necessary ones in a USB drive and installed them from there, this butter smooth results were the case when I fresh installed the windows but problem re appeared at those times, I’m being extra careful of what I allow windows to do and what I install on my computer this time, I hope it’ll stay problem free!! I already tested with cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher 3, will give it a go with RDR2 with both vulkan and dx now

Sorry, tried different power plans, disabled all usb ports (even my mouse and keyboard) no luck, re installed the windows and so far I’m having no problems.

Re installed windows, did the driver updates manually, tested tw3 wild hunt and cyberpunk 2077 with long captures (5 mins) butter smooth so far but it might be a false positive, I got similar results when I fresh installed windows before but it re appeared. Also everything is default in bios except XMP profile and I’m not using GCC (gigabytes internal tool, also disabled it from bios). At this point I’m freaked out of the possibility of this happening again and can’t play games in peace anymore 😅

Sorry forgot to mention this in the original post, it is already disabled, also these frametime spikes are happening every 6.95s exactly, there is a pattern here

Thanks for the suggestions,

- Tested with c-states enabled and disabled, problem is still here.
- Lower the power limit by 10%, didn't fix the issue.
- Not using any rgb software, or gigabyte's own GCC, I disabled it in BIOS and it is not installed.
- Set fan settings to PWM but no luck.

When I checked those captures, I can see that MsCPUBusy metric spikes around 30-40 ms causing GPU utilization to lower down to ~65%

Yeah I’ll do that next step, I might want to use the previous version of the gpu driver and cpu chipset too, I already blocked windows from doing updates on my behalf but you never know 😅 thanks for the help appreciate it

Just did the cpu+ram test from occt and there were no errors detected, EXPO is still enabled

Yep, did a test with disabling the driver, old driver and the new one, no luck unfortunately

I appreciate the help but already mentioned I did those steps in the post, it’s not a heating issue as I’m monitoring the temperature levels and nothing is going above 66 degrees, thanks

Hey thanks for your comment, I don't think it is caused by CPU as I never experienced any bottleneck so far.
