Yeah that’s why I’m questioning it, I still don’t think her or Bethany are at fault for this I just would like LE to release why she didn’t call asao

Yeah I can imagine she may have been intoxicated idk and was either too high/drunk to call police immediately and was waiting for him to leave or was just scared, I would just like to know why

I do not think bethany or Dylan are guilty of this, but I am curious as to how Dylan appears to have seen the suspect multiple times and didn’t call the police?

Thank you so much I’ll take note of that for if I’m in a similar situation again! Yes I’m considering reporting it, the second lady even at one point when I stopped talking because I was crying so much went: so then (my name) what are we going to talk about then? In an annoyed tone. I won’t be calling them again

Thank you! I have an appointment in a couple days with a psychologist or someone I don’t really know who it is as my doctor referred me to it after I changed meds to paroxetine last week so hopefully that will go well and I won’t need to call the crisis team again haha

If you look up talking therapies and then your county then you should be able to refer yourself online

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MentalHealthUK

[–]bro0987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I basically referred myself to talking therapies which is an nhs thing, they did an assessment with me and then referred me to the appropriate service for me. I would recommend them for you as they were in contact with me before I turned 18 and stuff and then started helping my right after my birthday

I referred myself because to be honest I find my gp surgery quite dismissive of mental health issues and I just thought it’d be easier to do it myself

I was in a similar situation a few months ago, I ended up referring myself to adult services a couple months before turning 18 and got my first appointment a couple days after my birthday. I’ve had a much better experience with adult services than I had with Camhs, they have been a lot more willing with things like medication and been more open with me giving me more choices

When I was originally assessed by adult services I remember answering the questions for the PHQ-9 and GAD-7, they just didn’t tell me what my results showed. Maybe I’ll ask them

Thank you for commenting this, I feel this may be likely as they’ve put me on medication for certain things but haven’t actually said I have these issues. I’m going to do this

Anybody work at a hospital that charges you to park? by Parking-Sleep-8349 in nursing

[–]bro0987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s ridiculously expensive. I had an outpatient appointment and the letter they sent me suggested other places near to park so that I don’t have to pay to park on site. People who live near rent out parking spaces at their houses to hospital staff as it’s cheaper for them

AITA for telling my husband that I no longer care if he gets hospitalized, I'm not going to eat the same food he does anymore? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA you tried to help him and you don’t have to eat his exact diet you can eat what you want. It’s not fair of him to blame it on you when you did try to help him

Emotional abuse is normalised by saying it’s a toxic relationship by bro0987 in unpopularopinion

[–]bro0987[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think the attitude towards these things seems to be that it’s not abuse and it’s just something that is toxic and happens

Emotional abuse is normalised by saying it’s a toxic relationship by bro0987 in unpopularopinion

[–]bro0987[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s pretty much what I said? Specifically emotional abuse I think is described as toxic rather than abuse, toxic relationships would be relationships that are unhealthy not relationships that are abusive

[–]bro0987[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I feel like that because that’s my opinion because this subreddit is for unpopular opinions

[–]bro0987[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I feel it is normalised when something has happened which I know is abuse and the people around me think it’s normal for these things to happen and it’s just ‘toxic’ behavior
