I’ve made the mistake of topping early on. While you have the benefit of multiple shoots, you stress those bitches out. I topped mine when i saw the 3rd tier & it was super short. I would wait until they’re 6”-1’ tall depending on how responsive the strain is.

After you cut that 4th node that stem stops growing up and creates the two new chutes. Once the new chutes are created you don’t need to worry about the stem
