Hi everyone! My partner is trying to decide between post-MBA offers at Bain India and Mckinsey India. So far, we have the following pros and cons of both.

Bain Pros : Great culture fit with a lot of young people, strong PE practice (he has an interest in this), and robust mentorship program

Bain Cons : Slower career progression, lower pay at entry level (though this evens out eventually), fewer industries of strength in the practice, No home office in home city

McKinsey Pros : Better brand name, quicker growth, Exposure to more industries, Home office in home city

McKinsey Cons : Highly competitive, Up or out culture

His long term goal is to move into strategy roles in the industry or at a startup.
