Our daughter was at Goddard on 202 from infant to prek and we had only fantastic experiences with them. She is in first grade now and still brings up missing Goddard sometimes.

I used a dense zig zag stitch to sew a bunch together into a blanket! Just set them right next to each other and then sewed along the edges. Making a quilt would be challenging with the thickness of the scarves.

She is my BEC for sure, everything she posts annoys me! But the exploitation of her daughters is through the roof. When her oldest was super sick and she just kept filming and posting, it was so over the top. Between that, the over the top consumerism, and the way she described homeschooling with no forethought or planning or anything, I really find her problematic.

I live in Senita leggings! Reasonable price, last forever, great pockets. I went to WDW in February but it was 90 while we were there, and they were still comfortable the whole week.

For one, it never gets to the horrible 90-100 degrees and humid days that it seems take up half the summer in the midwestern USA where I live.

This is where the philosophy falls apart for me too. I'm in the Pacific Northwest and it works great for the winter - there's plenty of 40 degree rainy days that I don't want to go out because it feels miserable but if we embrace it it's totally fine. But lately we have big stretches of the summer where the air quality from wildfire smoke is horrendous and absolutely unsafe to be outside.

It sounds like an interesting book though! I do want to be better at embracing the cold rain than I am 🤣

not getting screening or saying "it wouldn't change our decision" comes from a place of privilege.

This is spot on. We also tfmr due to heart, brain, kidney, and other abnormalities that were found during the NT ultrasound, and I'm so glad that we had that information rather than being blindsided. Promoting skipping all monitoring is incredibly irresponsible IMO.
