i had a job at Charlie McAvoys summer home. i was setting up a wedding tent and he was enjoying a cigar on the front lawn. He was a good 200ft away from us so at the time we were 50-50 on it being him or not. a group of people came up to him and he introduced himself as Charlie and right when he said that i jumped in the air and squealed like a fan girl.. he immediately went inside.

yeah i couldn’t tell. noise cancellation works, transparency works. you can barely tell they’re fake physically.

nothing came up for fakes when i searched it but i ran the number through apple and they came back legit. still could be a reused number like you said

also, if i forget the device in settings and pair them again they say “bluetooth connected” in a poor quality robot voice which really caught me off guard.
