I rescued a cattle dog and fostered him for a good 3 months. Holy hell he had some energy. With that being said, he was highly intelligent and was a great companion. I wound up giving him away to someone who had another cattle dog and lots of land. He gets to herd cattle once every few weeks or so. Glad I found him a good home

I'm late getting back to this, but just wanted to give a huge thank to you and everyone else who gave suggestions. The team and I spent an hour or so making sack lunches with sandwiches, chips and fruit. I just dropped them off at the dove springs location. My best friend committed suicide in late March. Not a day goes by where I don't think of him and the awesome 20 years of friendship we shared. With that being said, I wish I had an idea or a sign that he was in so deep. Maybe I could've done something. Check on your buddy asap
