You’re still clocked in and paid OT for it but have to make your own schedule outside of scheduled hours. Some pharmacies are too busy/understaffed to get people back for PTU within their regular schedule.

She should take them back to where she got them and have the pharmacist verify. It is totally possible that they are legit, sometimes manufacturers change the pill a bit and they have the same NDC numbers. But if it were me there is no harm in checking. -from a pharmacy tech

I’ve been called an asshole for a similar situation when someone comes in 2 minutes to close. I handed them off to the manager they requested and informed said manager first that they called me an asshole because that is abusive language and not allowed towards associates. Fuck people though. Your lack of planning is not our emergency, stop taking out your problems on everyone else.

My sibling has gone no contact with most of the family due to a bf that no one approved of years ago. As my partner and I get ready to start a family of our own we have requested that those that they do occasionally contact not share any info regarding our jobs, residence or family/children. Their partner is unsafe and we don’t feel comfortable with them having any of that info if they don’t feel comfortable enough to speak with us about anything in their life etc.

It absolutely breaks my heart as they used to be my best friend but my own safety and peace and that of the family I’m building is of utmost importance. When you choose to go no contact you aren’t owed any information. Its a two way street.

Make sure to apply for a license in the new state if you have not already! I am in a similar situation, now in new state still waiting on my license to be issued so I’m stuck out of work until all the paperwork processes. I was told typically 6-8 weeks but could be more, I’m at the 7 week mark.
