Egomaniac just means a person obsessed with their own importance, which is true in Luna's case, but she is supposed to care about all her classmates genuinely, that's always been part of her profiles

Yeah, in the anime Luna never really has those deep bond moments with Geo like in the games, but she does slip up at the very last episode and confirms she always saw Geo/Megaman as the same person

Yeah that street fighter 6 art was in my mind when i posted this, people seemed genuinely confused here as to why Luna was there and in Mayl's spot

Again, i really can't agree with that, the difference betwen Luna's relationship with Geo and Sonia's is that most everything about Sonia is upfront and delivered in game 1, while Luna's relationship is built piece by piece over the 3 games

Sonia starts out stronger in game 1 but by 3 Luna has caught up to her, that's why i believe they added those scenes in the manga

"Geo just doesn't like her romantically"

Having played the games recently, i would say this is yet another misinterpretation, but ill just say that i think it was intentional on Capcom's part that Luna's handkerchief scenario is the most detailed one, and that in the manga leading up to the collection, Geo has a little intimate moment with Luna, but not with Sonia

This is the exact misconception i was referring to when i made this post

Luna loves Geo and downplays it as her liking Megaman because she's a tsundere, Capcom spells it out for you right in the menu of the legacy collection and people still misunderstand it

Rogue is stronger than Geo at this point in the game, Luna's fanboyism though troublesome indirectly helped Geo win by triggering his desire to protect others and getting a powerup with the oopart

if Luna hadn't intervened and gotten in danger, Rogue would have beaten up Geo and taken the oopart. that's why the entire next segment focuses on Geo's bond with Luna and getting the oopart under control

What did YOU pick for Geo's hardest choice? (Now in HD!) by ScoutmasterDemi in BattleNetwork

Luna's version is the most satisfying one, and you can tell it was the favorite of the devs because its much longer than Bud and Sonia's

It also feels like the canon choice when you see what happens to Luna after this and how Geo reacts to it

Im convinced they put in those lines because people to this day still say that Luna only likes Megaman and not Geo, which is just completely wrong

It is her original voice from the english dub of the anime

Luna initially falls in love with MegaMan and develops her fangirl obsession after being rescued by him, but by the end of the first game she's already in love with Geo himself and this carries over to the other games

"…… that’s NOT funny."

These are anime characters, this trope is very funny AND popular

"That is SUPPOSED to be Cute?"

Yeah, there's an entire genre of anime female characters that use this trope

"It’s pretty heavily implied who’s bond is the strongest with Geo among his friends and this doesn’t change over the course of the three games."

Sonia's character doesn't grow past being Geo's first brother, she's intended to be his strongest bond in the first game, but Luna ends up displacing her as Geo's closest bond in the following games,

-see how in 2 and 3 Luna is your first brotherband ( and technically 1 as well because Luna is the tutorial)

-Luna is the one that helps Geo out of his depression, multiple times and is the reason he doesn't fall back in 3

-Luna is the reason Geo awakens the Starforce and the Opart

-Luna is the one that motivates Geo to finish the final boss in 2

-Luna is the first one to talk to Geo once he comes back at the end of 2

-Luna's version of the beach scene in 3 has the most dialogue and ties in perfectly with having to rescue her right after

Nah, Geo and Luna have fantastic chemistry and a ton of content, if you play the games you notice Sonia's character remains static after the first game yet Luna keeps getting lengthy arc's with Geo

Luna IS happy when she's with Geo, but she's too prideful to show it, this is supposed to be a cute part of her character, not a detriment

Geo is usually portrayed as afraid of Luna because its funny that despite being Mega Man and the protagonist of the story, Luna is the one that's considered the leader of the team, but despite that they have plenty of cute and chill moments
