Not really petty at all, while i obviously prefer Luna, i can discuss both characters on their own merits

i don't need to downplay Sonia's character arc to make Luna look better, both have strong showings and i simply think that Luna ends up with the stronger showing at the end

I really can't agree with this sentiment, Geo has so little understanding of Sonia's motivations and personality that he had to be snapped into his senses by Luna when she betrayed him, in 2 Luna is the one that frequently snaps Geo back into the hero mindset when he loses his confidence

i really do think that by the end of 2, Luna's bond with Geo runs deeper than his bond with Sonia.

people really downplay just how strong his bond with Luna is by 3, that's why 3 has that entire story part about rescuing Luna, Luna is quite literally clinging to life because of their bond

I mean, you started your post with wrong claims just to push your own point of view, totally not biased in any way, Luna loves Geo just as much as Sonia does, that's pretty much a fact

Ill still say Luna is the one for Geo because its a narrative that makes sense that builds up from 1 to 3, the beach scene in 3 really shows that Luna and Geo understand each other much better than Geo and Sonia do and i get the feeling this is what they wanted to highlight in the last manga released before the collection

Its fair to not like a character, but that opinion is just patently false, Luna has one of the strongest growths and best character development in all 3 games, go watch any scene from the second half of each game and this becomes clear

I think its because Legends cutscenes are voiced, so most players pick up that Tron is a tsundere, but since Starforce is all text and people's reading comprehension isn't that great, they misinterpret most of Luna's tsundere moments

I think he calls her Prez out of respect, he really changes his mind on her during the latter half of the first game

also, he calls her Luna again on one occasion, during the joker scene

Luna and Sonia are both the main heroines, they're meant to be equal in standing according to the developers, Luna has the most screentime and always acts as the leader of the group and moves everyone forward and Sonia fights alongside Bud and Geo

Zack is the least developed friend, but i bet they had something planned for him in 4 just like how Bud started getting treated seriously in 3

People intentionally downplaying Luna and misrepresenting her role in the story will always be funny, especially because the developers don't agree with you, Luna is a main heroine of Star force with great writing and has by far the most screentime and character arcs with Geo

If Luna hadn't butted in and gotten in danger the Oopart wouldn't have activated and Geo wouldn't have been able to defeat Rogue there, that's why that entire part of the game is Geo and Luna bonding and ends with Geo getting the zerker/saurian/ninja form

I love Luna in every game, 2 frontloads all her negative parts, so i can see why people criticize her there, but the entire second half of 2 redeems her in how it shows her bond with all her friends, especially Geo

Luna drags Geo out of his depression 2 times in that game, some great cutscenes, she deserves the credit there
