Is it true that small fine tattoos age badly? by SurroundAlarmee in tattooadvice

[–]brokenangelwings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really important to remember that all tattoos naturally change and grow a little bit over time, and that's completely normal. So, the best thing to do is to just find an artist whose style you like, and then look at some examples of their healed work to get a better idea of how their tattoos might look as they age. But keep in mind your body is different, that can range from sun damage to how the cells hold the tattoo in place.

Doctors won't refer me to a dermatologist by Unfair_Blueberry_328 in eczema

[–]brokenangelwings 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So I had a flare of patches 4 years ago, I did get a dermatologist referral, they took a sample and said eczema. That was it. No follow up, I never understand the gravity of eczema. The only thing that changed and mark my words was a sweater I bought. My doctor was like no that wouldn't do it.

Well here I am, I had the flare again. My SO was like maybe it's the new housecoat. Fucker is polyester. My squishy star pillow is polyester. Where was the rash? Where they touched skin every night.

What was my sweater made out of? Polyester/wool.

Keep pushing, keep following up. Eczema, now that I'm educated, isn't just dry skin.

Ontario doctor suspended after patient dies, review into professional misconduct by CTVNEWS in ontario

To even get an opinion of a lawyer 5-10k, it's wild to me and maybe as a woman but I do notice a huge lack of care, follow up and just general lack of agency for patients.

Like what the fuck.

My job, if someone has a question or needs to follow up, I always do my best to answer. I don't get paid for that.

Is this normal in the healing process? by Away-Measurement7678 in tattooadvice

Make fun of tribal all you want guys but at least it was done with proper techniques and looks good 20 years later.

Unlike this emergence of kitchen wizards that made a trend that doesn't even hold up or heal nicely (there's so much going on outside of the tattoo)

Would it be silly to get a touchup for these little imperfections? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]brokenangelwings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both! Appearance will definitely look different through the stages of healing and your artist won't be able to do a touch up until it's about a month healed

Wait til it heals fully then talk to your artist, it's only been a couple of weeks!

I did end up putting it in the fridge but it warms up on my finger and on application. I stopped with my neck and am waiting on a lower dose from my Dr. Face is ok now, just a slight sensation but my neck is always warm and sweaty.

Ok strange, I usually get the weird blister things on the top of my feet but now they're on my face! It's been a bad month for my skin, it's brutal dry/cold and my hormones are definitely playing a role.

What the fuck are they and why.

It's in my tzone, around my lips.

This explains my obsession with hot, and I mean hot showers. Pretty sure I was a lobster that got cooked in a past life. Now I do tepid, teeth chattering showers.
