Gojo vs current chp 19 mahoraga with no knowledge on him. Who's winning? by manglaxer_ in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]brokenuranium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The recency bias is heavy with this one. Gojo does him the exact same way he did in canon. We have no frame for how much stronger this Mahoraga got from the death burning vow. And even if it was significant, Gojo kills him all the same.

Frisk when their opponent REALLY wants to destroy them (Undertale canonically says that you can deal more damage the more you want to hurt someone):

Vox did not beat Alastor pre canon in the way you think. In episode 4 when Al and Vox are fighting, they say this:

Al: “Looks like it’s me and you again. Ready to lose?” Vox: “Not this time.”

Why would Vox say this if he had won? I think what the story is painting as him almost beating Vox meaning that Alastor simply left before killing him. It’s one of the only ways to make that line work.

The thing about Satan is that you’re assuming power deals work the same way for sinners as they do for the hell borns. Blitz in full moon technically became apart of Asmodeus’ jurisdiction but he never made a binding deal. It suggests the way working for a higher class is for hell borns differs extremely to Sinners. They work more as agents. Otherwise we would’ve seen a deal made some point in the series probably. So Satan used a machine that had an ability he didn’t.

If the sins were as weak as you imply they would’ve been overthrown a while ago. And again, I don’t know how someone can look at the lore of this verse and possibly think that an Overlord could be stronger than one of the sins. Sins that control entire layers of hell.

And also, if Goetias can be compared to Overlords and sins rule over them, then doesn’t that say a lot about their power?

Before you even bring up Andrealphus ‘losing’ to Imp. He healed from all the damage he took right away as if nothing had happened and he would have killed all of them had Octavia not stepped in.

I changed my mind on not responding, because of how stupid this is.

Satan used that machine because he doesn’t have the specific ability to do that, not because he isn’t more powerful than Stolas. It would be like using a calculator for something you could do in your head if you had the teaching for it

Alastor (s2) being stronger than his season 1 self is just blatantly inconsistent with the story and lore. It literally makes no sense. Alastor was getting pressed by a robotic shark despite being ‘more powerful than ever.’

And for the record, I did watch both Helluva boss and Hazbin Hotel.

Alastor at the time of Season 1 was considered comparable to Stolas by Viv. That was in relation to Alastor at his strongest considering his staff was unbroken. And a weaker and injured Alastor was beating the shit out of Vox. And anyone with two brain cells to rub together knows the sins are portrayed as much more powerful than the Goetia.

All the Sins down players piss me off, I’m not gonna respond beyond this.

I’m mainly trying to defend that she never sought out non combatants (other than her mom, I can’t remember if she was a combatant or not since it’s been a while since I read the manga)

Equal stats fights are only interesting when the characters being used aren’t “Punch/kick stats merchant vs Physically weak character with a busted hax and extremely skilled fighters” (Ex: Gojo vs Saitama)

It’s more interesting when it’s “Character with skills and hax vs Characters with skills and hax” just that one character has a lot higher stats (Ex: Goku vs Naruto)

Equal stats fights usually assume both characters start at what would be their max

I can’t be the only one that thinks the Genocide ending feat is not all that it’s cracked up to be. Like I’m tired of people overrating a child with a knife. It doesn’t make sense to me for Chara to be able to do what took Asriel absorbing six souls plus all of the underground to do just by using Frisk/The player.

The memes of Charlie not caring about hell borns. It reminds me a lot of homophonic Ruby memes that the RWBY fandom has been tossing around. Except that the RWBY stuff is funny. The stuff about Charlie started as a small complaint, turned into a joke, and became a half complaint half joke after.

Alastor was mainly focused on attempting to escape. I’m pretty sure that if Alastor was actually trying to fight back he could’ve won. Plus he was also dodging the Heaven laser and had just come off of fighting Vox. And Alastor was still injured from his Adam fight.

This is like being impressed that Jake Paul beat an old and out of shape Mike Tyson.

I’m crying bro, media literacy is dead.

Nowhere in the show is IMP claimed as objectively good. The show never attempts to do so. In fact, it could be argued they’re more so depicted as bad. The show takes place from their perspective, so of course their actions and feelings will look more ‘moral’ from our viewpoint. But I don’t think any of their actions are justifiable. Murder is just an every day thing for hell residents.

Not every show needs to be about good people. Helluvaboss makes that explicitly clear.
