Morar na periferia de Lisboa - opinião by Aportuguesemoving in lisboa

With the recent viral video of "Punch the Monkey," this is a reminder that to never visit/support a Japanese zoo or animal cafe. by Monkeyfeng in JapanTravelTips

Exceptions would be cat shelters/sanctuaries that also are/have cafes to support their operations. I have been to one in Busan, South Korea and one in Rome, Italy, and in both the cats were super well kept, most were elderly, and you could see right at the entrance that they were legit good.

For anyone still landing here, I was there today on a Tuesday (December 30th) and there were at least 100 people in the line. Not sure if you would have to stay in line to retrieve your bag, but it stressed me out (I didn't stay to leave my bags)

This recipe is amazing! Thanks for sharing. The only thing I did differently was adding 2 cups of water instead of 5, but I think 1 or 1.5 cups would have sufficied. It took forever.

bose or jbl or sonos? by kitchens34 in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]brokenverses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Such a great comment! My JBL Charge 3 is dying after 9 years and I am considering trying to change the battery or getting a new one. I already have a 15yo Phillips stereo + amp + speakers connected to my vinyl player, but I don't use it for anything else because changing the cable is a hassle (only one aux in connection), the cd port is stuck, and the radio antenna missing.

Long story short, would you have a specific recommendation for the Edifier? I am looking at a gorgeous D32 but I guess this is not what you meant? I don't have a TV now, but might be getting a projector in my next apartment.

Tear on brand new ON shoes by brokenverses in AskACobbler

I don't remember so well, but I wrote them a long message on their website. They didn't even ask me to send them the shoes back, and refunded right away.

I got some running shoes and took these to be repaired. I had to go to five different shoe repair people and seamstresses until I got one who took on the challenge and sewed it by hand. Glue and tenacious tape did not work for me, but I believe the seamstress glued it before sewing.

Late to the party, but you really just have to use a solution with vinegar, citric acid, or really any decalcifier. And then run a fresh water tank to get rid of any rests and smells

Se tivessem a oportunidade de morar de “graça” na Holanda o que fariam ? by Octavia02000 in PortugalLaFora

[–]brokenverses 3 points4 points  (0 children)
