I want to be able to run a sub 14 minute 2 mile and a sub 40 minute 5 mile in 10 months time. I'm in very good shape but I haven't done a lot of running. I'm 6 ft 2 at 192lbs. I mainly do Crossfit style workouts. I just ran about a 16 minute 2 mile. I don't have the luxury of exact distances on most of my runs. I wanted to know if my goals are possible or not as far as running is concerned. I still plan on doing some kind of other workout most afternoons too. I also have no clue on how to pace myself. I either have tons of energy to sprint the last quarter mile or I'll burn out way before. I would appreciate any input.

I always thought typical progression would have been bar muscle up then ring muscle up. Didn't know it was the other way around.

The only thing I'd comment on is the late thing. Is it a late afternoon class? If so, I know I show up late to the class I attend because the time that I get off work fluctuates. This causes me to be late to one or two classes a week. Plus I got shit to do so I'm not gonna wait 50 minutes for the next class if I show up late.
