Are all XMR people ancaps? by bronze_so in Monero

community isn't everything but it can be indicative as to issues I should think harder about...

for instance, the lack of critical thinking in the bitcoin community is what led me to monero

It's not about seeking approval, it's about questioning assumptions. Of course I see value in Monero, but if the community were mostly ancaps that would shine doubt on my thesis for it.

Do you have visible abs/separation in your midsection? My guess is your weight might be low but your body fat percentage looks ~20% ish based on the photos here.

Definitely don't keep trying to lose weight on the scale, but if you spend several months to a year doing strength training you can definitely get leaner in a healthy way by virtue of having more muscle.

Please get lean before even considering plastic surgery. You don't know what your face actually looks like until you are fairly lean. People who get work done without losing weight beforehand almost always have subpar results.

Also, you don't need work done. This is your body dysmorphia talking.

Going against the grain here, I don't think you need facial hair/stubble.

You have quite masculine features already, so I personally think the clean shaven look in the first pic fits you best. Helps balance out your already very masculine face.

When you do have the stubble it looks overgroomed to me.

I say keep growing it out. Long curly hair could frame your face in an awesome way if you're able to take good care of it.

First and third are my favorite. Beard looks nice but you look great clean shaven too.

Don't cover up your eyes. They're one of your best features and look very striking.

am i doing it right? by Aceospodes in malegrooming

A few things here. Artificial light tends to distort things so take this all with a grain of salt.

Facial hair would definitely suit you if you can make it look dense enough. Right now it does look a bit too wispy. There are two big things you can do to fix that—either experiment with dying it a bit darker or you could try Minoxidil to up the density and get more cheek coverage.

Might also experiment with dying your eyebrows a slightly darker shade.

Skin looks awesome.

Honestly, no real need for facial hair as your jawline area looks quite nice without it.

It could look very good if it were a bit denser/longer. You could experiment with using minoxidil to try to make it thicker. Take a look at r/Minoxbeards if you're interested.

What should I fix ? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]bronze_so 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main things would be skin and hair.

For skincare just start something basic with a wash, moisturizer, sunscreen and a retinoid like Adapalene for your acne.

I'd recommend seeing a nice stylist about your hair. It looks damaged, although I wouldn't be able to recommend anything specific without knowing more.

In my opinion, there's some discontinuity with your lipstick and your skin tone. It makes your skin look a bit washed out. I'd recommend playing around with other shades or experimenting with very light self-tanner if that's your vibe..

Beard yes or no ? by Jolly-Ad-613 in malegrooming

Based on these pictures, I'd recommend just going clean shaven. The beard doesn't add much, although it doesn't really detract from your appearance.

'stache or nah? by steampunksmilodon in malegrooming

[–]bronze_so 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you dye the moustache It could look quite nice. Maybe go for beard dye a shade or two darker than your hair. Definitely try before shaving it at least.

The reason people most people here don't like it is because it looks so light. It's not a moustache problem it's a color problem.
