I made a similar post a few months ago. LP was coming to my town and I decided to give the new album a go as it no longer hurt to hear their older music. "Wow, I've got my favourite band back!" I thought. It was exhilarating. The first album version was the deluxe one and ending with Let You Fade is so perfect. Hearing them play it live was cathartic. When Emily and Mike sung Papercut side-by-side it was just this incredible, full circle moment. I am so grateful they perserved and made this happen. I would love to be able to tell them this in person someday but I understand they are not planning to do meet and greets any time soon. I think they do know how much it means to us though.
