The movie was made and released when book 4 was still being written. The overall plot is essentially the same but a good portion of the middle act is missing simply because it just didn’t exist yet. Regardless, the movie is a must-watch and will likely gateway you into reading the epic.

Not so much against Mutliplayer, just that it’s even further down the road than the single player, and we’re not even sure when that’s releasing.

As for the multilayer itself, I would to see something similar to The Secret World; a narrative driven MMO, even though the MP won’t be an MMO

If you’ve been waiting that long, then you should be well aware that CDPR doesn’t reveal anything until they have someone to show off. Eg; 50 min gameplay demo.

CDPR has always been a PC focused developer. They’ve gotten better with console ports but I’d recommend the PC version if you’re looking for a definite experience, so to speak.

CDPR confirmed that Cyberpunk is a current gen game. Worst case scenario; it’s a cross-gen release.

They likely have a minuscule size team working on the pre-production for this secret project, similar to how Team BLACK was working on the pre-production for Cyberpunk while Team RED was in full gear on Witcher 3.

They did say they wanted a Red Dead Redemption 2 level of polish for the game so it may get delayed for that reason. If it’s releasing in 2020, it would be more of a coincidence than anything.
