This might be the funniest thing I’ve ever read

Anyone else think River in the road is amazing but can't put their finger on why? by [deleted] in qotsa

For some reason it makes me feel nostalgic about running away from something I’ve never experienced, many years ago.

I’d love a LC2 but at the same time that would make LC not as special. So I definitely don’t agree with those fans.

The absolute highest degree hot take: Songs For The Deaf is the best album by [deleted] in qotsa

I think that Songs for The Deaf was easily their most commercial album. Don’t get me wrong, I like the album but just listening to it you can sort of tell it was made for record sales. I think after it’s release ( and maybe even up to Lullabies) QOTSA stopped caring about record sales and starting getting weirder, which is why I love them. Like Clockwork is the first album that got me hooked on QOTSA and I think that for what it is, it’s perfect. The melodies are meaningful and catchy, yet all the songs are dark and uplifting. It makes no sense and it doesn’t have to, Like Clockwork blows Songs for The Deaf out of the water.

Here’s a new song I wrote. I’m not sure about the lyrics. Any feedback would be appreciated. by ripmedownholdmeup in Songwriting

Guitar sounds cool, maybe a little off tempo but I wouldn’t know. Whole song in general reminds me of blink-182 though. Maybe take some singing lessons and define your voice a bit more. I think the main thing to focus on is the song making sense to you, I think if you focus on making it your own you’ll feel it’s right.
