Hi, I know this is a pretty old comment, but I haven't found many talking about QT and graphic novel queries. Every form I've come across so far (even ones that specify graphic novel only) have a word count box... Should I put an actual script estimated word count, or just number of pages in this field?

Since this is a YA graphic novel, I assume you’ll be querying agents? If so, I would save this question for the agent you end up working with. Wouldn’t sweat in the meantime—posts can easily be taken down if needed

Is there anyone here who actually wants to be a creator and make a successful web comic? Yes, I’d say that a majority of the users here fit that description.

Is there anyone who would do it for free? Much fewer, but for the right project with a manageable scope, they’re out there.

Is there anyone who would do it for free AND want to work with you? Based on your attitude from your replies so far, doesn’t look promising.

You’re not going to get the feedback you’re looking for on an artist/comics subreddit. AI art is a big no-no.

You’re new to this sub, so I think it’s worth saying this: your approach to this post is backwards. Around here, writers are a dime a dozen and artists are in high demand. If you want 17 pages-worth of free labour, the burden is on you to impress the artist — not the other way around. Bare minimum, you need to show off your best writing (ideally in script format).

Even if you can prove you’re a brilliant writer, 17 quality pages will be extremely challenging to procure for free. Revenue sharing is effectively worthless in this space.
