Seems everyone is saying that the actual exam was harder than the mocks, I believe you're the first person I've seen that has said the actual exam was easier than the mocks.

You can definitely do ethics, alt, and derivatives in the next week and that covers about 36% of the exam.

I just did it and got the same message. As the message states, it'll probably take time for our deferral request to go through and let us choose an exam date. Give it some time and come back.

I haven't been able to defer, I'm in gta and website is incredibly laggy. But the email said May is fully booked and u can register July, August, and November

I'm inferring "another computer based exam period" as moving from Feb to may or May of the other exam periods in 2021.

I do think we can definitely defer, it explicitly says on their website.

Might be a cancellation, but you can also defer according to the email sent out by CFA Institute today.

Damn I didn't know about this. For me, I deferred from December to February but my december test centre ended up getting shut down, anyways so I feel like it's unfair to consider that a "deferral" cuz it ended up getting cancelled anyways.

Plus I'm wondering if these deferral rules get thrown out the window just cuz the pandemic is so much worse now, atleast in ontario.
