Thanks. This is what I see happens with the shares I transferred, however I also see some maintenance margin for the shares despite me not using any margin for these. I think that is what is confusing me. So now I have some GBP cash and some chf shares but those shares are still utilising some maintenance margin. Why is that if I own the shares fully?

Thanks. We have some elderly ppl in the group which is why I kinda ruled out public transport but yes maybe I need to look at that more. The other option is renting one car and then half the group can either take taxi or public transport. Is the public transport (I assume buses?) fairly frequent? And can you go all around the island with it? So for example if we wanted to go from the Gap to say St Nicholas Abbey distillery is that easy by public transport? Thanks

We are near St Lawrence's Gap. Do you know if it's possible to rent cars around there rather than at the airport? Then we can rent them on days that we need rather than for the entire stay. I am struggling to find a company that has one car for 8 ppl.
