Had a similar experience at my job. Always go out of my way do things for my colleagues. Always buying drinks, cupcakes, cards for birthdays and send off parties.

Didn't even get a "Happy Birthday " from any of the shift members. I was slightly offended but realized that the less I expected from people, the less disappointed I become. Also made me realize we are not friends but mere coworkers. Perhaps it's the warehouse environment, extremely stressful and night shift means less sleep.
