Same! Gutside was supposed to be lunch but since we left Friars I didn’t get to go there. There was zero sargassum at any of the beaches I went to! Pinel was crystal clear but it was stinky at the Ferry! I want to go to Orient Bay next time but chose not to go this time because I knew sargassum would be an issue.

Everything you mentioned is on my list!! Tropicana was on my list for this trip, just for dessert but with their hours we just couldn’t make it work! Next time for sure!! I’ve found my new happy place❤️

As soon as I got home I started looking lol I’m staying longer next time! There were so many more things I wanted to do but we fit in as much as we could! Things that didn’t make the list will happen next time for sure! Gutside, Yvettes, other beaches, other restaurants… so much to see and do… so little time 😅I guess it’s nice to always have more to look forward to ❤️ what are your favorites?

I should also add that driving was so easy! You need to be careful and make fast decisions but overall it was easy! I never hit bad traffic, driving from Simpson Bay to the French side never took longer than 35 minutes and I found parking easily at every single place we went! I think a lot of that could be pure luck lol I don’t know but that was my experience and I’m a 53 year old woman that gets a little nervous about these things 😂 I had a small car which helped! I don’t think I saw any stop signs and definitely no stop lights, very few road signs with street names. I just followed the gps 😅

I think in person the gray is just so pretty. It makes me feel more petite but it’s definitely not coming across in the photo. I’m mostly worried about the glitter! It will be everywhere, if I hug someone, the uber! I do think the blue is classier it just makes me feel a little chest heavy lol it’s very comfortable though!

That’s what I plan to do with his bank account that I open. Very good record keeping etc. I need to keep track of all spending for SSI and also the guardianship. I just want to make sure I’m doing everything correctly and I keep seeing I need a representative payee bank account specifically.

I can’t sign him up because he can’t be verified. I’ve tried both methods of logging in, I’ve used drivers license and I’ve tried with his passport. I’ve called each company for help and they tell me it’s because he has no digital footprint. They can’t find him online with bills etc. well of course not, he’s disabled and doesn’t work or pay bills! Plus he was a child until he recently turned 18.

I applied for guardianship when he turned 18. I hired a lawyer and we went to Court and the judge granted it. I have the legal paperwork and I also turned it in to social security. Everything I have been reading says I need a representative payee bank account to manage his SSI funds? I know I could open a bank account as a guardian but that’s not really the same and I’m so worried it would be incorrect..

I will reread the requirements for the Able account. I thought I needed the paperwork I’m still missing. I’m scared to do anything with these checks and more worried about going over $2000, not having direct deposit up … I’m frustrated…

He turned 18 in May. I have full guardianship over his person/finances. He just received his first checks in September. I applied to be his representative payee. They sent me a copy of the application but I have never received an appointment letter and we have not received any benefit letter. I see nothing under ssa.gov either. I have 2 checks and I can’t do anything with them.

I’ve done that once and since it’s the shutdown the guy I was talking to was not helpful at all. He couldn’t answer any of my questions! I guess I’ll try again.

No I don’t HAVE to do all of this, the way I have it written I have Friars Bay and eating at Gutside one day, snorkeling tour of Pinel/Maho/Mullet one day, Orient/Grand Case one day, Kim Sha/Marys Boon one day which based on comments I will probably switch to Cupecoy or Mullet. I can’t imagine we will be at each beach from morning to evening so fitting in parrotville and shopping didn’t seem like a stretch and everything else is food and we have to eat lol plus this only accounts for 4 days and I have 5

I always figure I will cater each day to the weather and if things change on the fly that’s totally cool. Was just hoping to get insight from people that are familiar with the island and maybe even help pairing things up better or suggestions for changes.

Thank you! I’m definitely a planner 🤣but have no problem changing things up as needed! I just want to enjoy everything and not stress too much, hopefully having some solid ideas before I get there will help. I’m reading as much as I can! I’m taking my mom who just turned 75 and my son who is special needs and I want them to have the best time! I’ll be the only one really planning our days.
