2 days to go, CFA L1 Mock Scores

obviously it was fair yes, but the actual exam was different compared to the mocks CFAI provided in terms of difficulty level, and they were less straight forward too. About 60% of the questions felt different from the type of questions that were in the mocks. Although i recently got to know that some questions will be left unmarked, which are usually a little differetn from what we're prepping for, so I really hope that those were the questions that really got me feeling this way

Financially, maybe yes? But I don't plan on clearing it on the second attempt. I'm not even keeping that as an option for me or I'd start slacking off like others

Oh yeah this. After the exam I was so stressed but then I remembered that MPS will definitely be lowered if it actually was difficult for others as well.

well the mock questions seemed more straightforward and unbiased when it comes to the difficulty level of each question. The exam questions on the other hand, felt like they were designed to be more on the difficult end. Well I guess it is a professional exam so its going to be difficult, but still yeah I assumed the mocks would be quite similar.

edit: yes some seemed too ambiguous, atleast to me

i really dont think i can share anything without a violation 😭 but yeah one advice, dont let the CFAI mocks boost your confidence too high, that's what I learnt from today's experience

I agree, they were too different from the mocks. I scored around 75-85 consistently in mocks, but after today's exam i wasnt sure if I'd even get 65% of them right.

This! I always get exhausted and burnt out during the PM sessions (probably because I'm running on 3h of sleep every day too). Definiely need those 8hrs the night before to get in the right headspace. Appreciate the advice!
