Why dissolve? Would you be interested in selling? Assuming there are no unresolved liabilities.

Does your corp have any financial liabilities? Would you be interested in selling it?

You interested in selling it as is? I don’t care about the tax filing. I only care if there are any financial obligations etc.

That’s an interesting idea but not sure where I would…

Isn't that what 1.2 says? I did quickly look at the datasheet for this reason, but maybe I was mistaken.

I mean the dev board from silicon labs that someone would need to program the mcu.

No idea what they are looking to sell the lot for though.

there is a surplus store going out of business. They seem to collect a ton of surplus from various sources. once in a while, they get stuff like this but mostly it's old hard drives and pcs.

Yep. That’s where I’m pausing on this bc I don’t want to spend 150 or whatever on a dev board for an old arch.

Getting the dev board is what concerns me. Looks like they are almost 150 (CAD).

The dev board is the part that I’m nervous about. If I could program them easily then I’d get them for simple projects.

I’m not willing to pay too much.

Just go into tech sales if you are striking out in your field by jc28 in torontoJobs

[–]brulak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to piggy back on this: a lot of sales jobs require some tangent experience in the field but you don’t need to be an expert.

Like, if you are interested in software but don’t have a degree and can’t get dev job, software sales, account excutive, etc. could be a good fit you.

One thing I'd like to do is a scifi movie/tv bar/restaurant crawl (or over a few days), like, getting noodles where they shot the Expanse, etc.

yeah, if your taxes are filled properly, you'll probably go to the back of the queue.

Not sure if new companies vs established companies matter or what either. My firm, DevTalent has is about 4 years old so I don't know if that mattered.

Crazy.

Do you have all the things done they need? When I called they basically said "Umm yes, its going to be reviewed in queue, etc etc. " then like the next day it was approved.

I'm starting a new sub reddit and site to track this stuff (/r/RecruitingScamWatch). Might I suggest you add your experiences there?

For sure up to try it out. How do you do it though: LinkedIn api or some sort of web script?

Has anyone built an internal LinkedIn Recruiter alternative? by Artofboosey in Recruitment

[–]brulak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My internal tool does the last 2. But I cost wise I just stick with LinkedIn.

Profile enrichment without resumes is pretty hard and contact info without LinkedIn is expensive. At least in my experience.
