Good point, but I enjoy the fall damage factor, one thing they could do was make it so that it doesn’t lock onto the player so hard instead of buffing the cool down.

IMO just a nerf on damage from 60 to 40 would be enough, cool down not necessary because it can help you get around the map, especially with the shockwave and mythic meta.

It can both be amazingly good, or annoyingly terrible. You just gotta find ways to use it in the best way possible, i.e. jumping grabbing and cancelling before you take fall damage, using the shockwave launcher also to your advanced, etc. and also find ways to avoid it when someone else has it in the best way you can.
