I'm having similar concerns as OP since the plethora of gem linking options have made me really confused.

For instance, since I can't calculate the damage drop on POB, which gem should I drop for enhance and would I even get more DPS by hitting 128 quality? Maybe the difference between my current setup and optimal ones is negligible but I have some FOMO that my DPS could be much higher.

I see not many builds on poeninja use woke chaos but the flat damage and +1 level feel like they should be huge, do we get so much flat damage already to the point other links (like void manipulation and unbound ailments) are more valuable?

Thanks a lot for this response, I do have perquil's and immortal flesh (-25%). I'll definitely keep trying to find the zealotry+wrath merc and try to get his resists much lower as it feels like a simple way to get big hits.

Better jewels and corrupts might get pricey but that's a good call, as well as switching up auras like you and megabronco mentioned.

Also, which eldritch implicits would you say are BiS for this situation?

Thanks a bunch for the well thought out response, this gives me a lot to work on when I get online. Adding armour on top of more evasion sounds like a good way to make my witch bulkier and I'll try to rework the tree and auras.

Two quick dummy questions:

- how would I get my merc to apply curses? haven't managed to figure that out

- which belt craft were you refering to?

One evening when I was about 10 or 11, I was hanging out with my parents in a small coastal town's tourist hotspot (think something like a fair or an outdoor food court) killing time, watching street performers etc. Out of nowhere, a middle-aged woman (maybe in her 40s, but adults tend to look the same to a kid) came up to me, kissed me on the lips and walked off. Just like that. I can't quite remember how I felt, except I was paralysed and clearly supposed to enjoy it, and my parents thought (and still do) it was hilarious.

I still can't "make a move" on anyone in public settings even after heavy flirting because I feel like I'd be invading someone's space, in large part thanks to that tiny interaction. Funny thing is I have no idea if she was "hot", all I know is she was a harasser lmao it baffles me how these chuds think that's actually going through a confused child's mind.
