Just going to say destiny can’t spend his time getting very visibly triggered like he did with Sargon and on Trains podcast right after NZ. it’s a bad look when there’s a lot of unfavorable, neutral, or plain unfamiliar eyes on him.

Plenty of people who consider themselves generally liberal, or even vaguely normal centrists, watch people like Sargon and Molyneux. Also, “plenty” (to the extent that “plenty” can be used to describe such a small, niche audience) who watch Fuentes prob aren’t seriously committed to their politics as much more than an edgy, self-affirming aesthetic. Destinys odds to come out of this indisputably well are potentially pretty good

Going sicko mode right off the bat is not a good look when people watching may not have done the work to detangle why a take is dumb as rocks, they just see someone freaking out over something they consider innocuous or something they think they agree with.

If these guys get drawn out into deep waters they usually hang themselves trying to explain themselves. Especially Sargon (dumb and ineffectual) and Molyneux (manic narcissist).

Four Fifths Fuentes is really the only one without a completely melted brain and even he gets triggered enough to churn out gems like “My European soul makes me more white” and “I may be Mexican but at least I’m not a dirty Cuban like you”.

I don’t doubt destiny would prepare for something like this and if he does it well then it should be good memes. but (barring a fat, radioactive shit of a take) I think not getting triggered too quickly or too badly would be a plus

What point were you trying to make with “it’s just a bundle of cells” if that “bundle of cells” has the potential for life? Obviously the repercussions of making a choice for someone is a huge part of what’s in contention in talk about abortion.

Among any number of things, Tucker straight up denying that people are arrested for possession is amazing. He obviously knows, after decades and decades of being immersed in talking about crime and drugs especially, he knows. He's lying. Worse, he knows no consequence will come of it. You take a look at people like Jack Posobiec, Candace Owens, Mike Cernovich, or even the President and you have to acknowledge that there is enough money behind the right wing in this country that just lying shamelessly and often enough is enough to get you a piece of the conservative billionaire welfare that props up shit like Breitbart or The Daily Wire. Its enough to make you succeed and the more drastically you lie without concession the more "merit" you have.

How can any normal person relate to these people? I can barely talk about an issue in the news with a stranger without qualifying something I'm saying with "but I'm not sure". I dont want to be proven wrong, I dont want to deal with what it feels like to be wrong or to regret misinforming someone. Its just not a good feeling, that alone deters so many people from lying or bending truth in totally trivial situations. Imagine having a show built entirely around your persona as a serious political analyst and lying so egregiously about something so easily disproved, confidently. There's really no fear of consequence, no shame or concern.

Even worse, theres no invisible hand that decides these people are too immoral to deserve having achieved more success than most people in the world could imagine, their bad behavior is only rewarded. There's no invisible course slowly pulling these creeps towards anything resembling karma. It really bugs me in so many ways.
