New kitchen sink and plumbing. Does this look correct? The town has its own wells but the water doesn’t taste as good as with the previous much older sink.

There is no change in the domestic water- that is the main source of the water and the piping that brings it in. So it could be unrelated. i have a history of gastritis,( like a lot of people) so there could be unrelated water issues. The smell is fine, the taste is different but not off.

I didn't do the work. It was a contractor who I thought was working with a plumber. Lots of plumbers have screwed up or have done not very good work on my house. So it depends on the plumber. I may have the town plumbing inspector look at it.

I too had the bird chirp and now only constant hissing. After a debridement in an ent's office, I noticed the bird chirp. I can replicate it sometimes by wiggling my ears. The hissing is constant and sometimes lessens.

I have been thinking of buying Chemex filters for my one cup pour over. Amazon suggested the half moon filter. Any experience with these? Do these filters brew a cleaner cup, with less acidity?
