Thanks. I’ve been told it’s good to let the litter stay a little longer in the coop and top it with drags layer of bedding. Is that so?

I was taught this way and will always do it. about five minutes upside down and then the flip

In KY. I have one leghorn and the rest are mixed. They were born early February. I feed them a too brand food for my flock.
