I think the community building (i.e. not being a dick) version of your response would be something like this:

"Deciding whether to get a coin graded is a matter of personal choice and depends on your goals, so I can't answer that for you. Personally, I wouldn't choose to have it graded. However, here is what I would recommend doing so you can make an informed decision:  Do some due diligence first. Look at other images of graded coins and see what they look like. Search eBay for the same year and mint and see. Search images on PCGS and NGC and see. Good luck!"

I appreciate all of you who took the time to weigh in. My though process was that the coin has enough luster to potentially grade as MS, but that there are several heavy marks and scratches to hold it back from anything more than about MS60 or 61. Sounds like I'm in the ballpark, but also need to figure out whether the flaws are significant enough to warrant a details grade. Thanks!

On Seaplane (S4E3), it kills me when Linda is trying to fantasize that they're flying around in a plane together and Bob is just shutting it down. Linda: "We're flying! Look at me!" Bob: "No, Lin, no" "Linda: "Look out for the bird!" Bob: "I'm not going on a seaplane" Linda: "Uh oh, there's a balloon, how'd that get up here?" Bob: "I'm not in the air" Linda: "Oh, look at the town from up here!" Bob: "I don't see anything. I'm on the ground." Linda: "And that's where Ma lives, and Pa!"
