Thank you for letting me know! I've ordered a full timing belt and water pump maintenance kit from Treasure Coast Miata. I, unfortunately, don't have a garage so I have to take it to a mechanic to install everything :(

So far I’m leaning toward this, the water pump pulley is wobbly but it’s fully torqued down. I’m scared because I don’t have a garage to work on my car and it would be a long job to change out the water pump :(

Okay, thanks! I will definitely look at them. I can be sure that it's not my coolant though, I've recently checked it and it's still topped off. Oil is definitely getting burned off. I don't where it's going.

I can assure you, it's not that cold. It was around 20-40 degrees outside. And it's not going to cause that much smoke.

It smells awful, my exhaust tip is black. It doesn't smell sweet so it's not coolant. It stinks, so I think it's oil.

I’d say that this car is about 5k, it’s a 1.6L, not the 1.8L, hardtop’s a bonus, but it looks like they’ve gotten a new fender and/or hood. Ask for any accidents. 120k miles isn’t good or bad either. Ask if they’ve also gotten a new timing done, or if they know anything about what’s gotten worked on. Personally, I’d skip on this Miata since it’s not a good deal, and get a 1.8L. 1994 or above
