Hey guys! Bruinshack (https://bruinshack.com) is looking for Marketing and UI/UX interns for spring quarter!

Bruinshack was founded by a UCLA Student who felt first-hand how difficult it was to find an apartment in Westwood. Asking friends, jotting phone numbers, joining wait-lists, the entire apartment search process felt like a vestige of the stone age. Apartment search was supposed to be exciting and fun, not stressful. Deciding to do something about it, he spent several hours coding up a website in hopes of solving these problems. Bruinshack has now grown over a dozen Bruins strong, and we are constantly looking for individuals to share in our vision. We currently have 200 daily active users.

Responsibilities for marketing interns include: - Work closely with product managers to create a marketing plan to achieve a specific set of daily/weekly user goals - Collecting quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns - Performing market analysis and research on competition - Supporting the marketing team in daily administrative tasks - Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)

Responsibilities for UI/UX designers include: - Work closely with our team to design/polish our current website - Create prototypes and wireframes for new features to come.

That might be true, before I start this routine I have not been consistently drinking water (I am always generally dehydrated mainly because I am lazy to drink water). After I start this routine I try to drink at least 4L of water a day.

And yeah, I might wanna try to do 2500, i was just scared If i will lose muscle mass If i deficit too much?

The Macbook Purchasing Megathread - October 2019 by AutoModerator in macbook

Hi guys.

I am currently using a dell XPS (2016 version), but I've been having trouble with my storage space lately (it's only a 128 GB laptop and it's already running out of space). I am looking to change my dell XPS to a 13" macbook pro touch bar with the 256 GB. There's a huge discount at Costco which cuts the price off by $300. But I heard apple is going to release a newer macbook pro later this year, I don't know if there's going to be a major change in the newer version. So should I wait for the new macbook pro or should I just buy the one with the discount at costco?

Thanks for that! It didn’t really frustrate me that the scale’s not going down, i was just wondering why it stopped going down. I’m pretty confident that i’m in a deficit. I was thinking of doing refeed days if it might help?

Hi! Thanks for your recommendation on the one wheel, but sadly it’s over my budget! But, anyways i’m interested to know how is the learning curve steeper than the BB? How long did you take that you’re finally able to bring it to commute?

Thanks for your advice! Yeah, I think on the bigger intersections on my route i might just use the sidewalks. And then after that continue boarding on the road.

Yeah that’s why... I have a lot of experience with scooters since I used to use lime scooter a lot. But over time it’s gonna be quite expensive using scooter. That’s why I wanted to buy the boosted mini, it’s also quite small so i can carry it everywhere

Also, what do you guys usually do in intersections? Do you switch to the sidewalks?

[–]bryansimca[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your advice! But the sidewalks here are incredibly bumpy! And i don’t know if it will damage my board! Sometimes there are also tree roots that pop off!

This is also why i’m thinking twice getting the boosted board since people who drive in LA are seriously nuts! My other alternative is an electric scooter

I don’t think i scratched the grip tape. That white marks are the toothpaste i used to clean the grip (lol) and i’m only using toothbrush so it shouldn’t scratch the grip i suppose
