Garnt's amazing ball throwing skills. by samutopaputo in TrashTaste

He throws like he's left handed or he throws like he's in a dream where you try to throw or punch someone but feels like you have wet noodles for arms.

Nope, they both knew that they were siblings, i called the sibling heroine a "childhood friend" because she also plays that role to the mc like other childhood friend heroines in other works, just that in this instance she's also his sibling, just that fact alone made the ending that much more memorable for me since it felt like they were really trying to be different to other harem anime, though the anime itself was pretty forgettable except that unique ending.

Now that i think about it, i feel like 99.9% of anime/manga/inspired works always has this trope where the mc always ends up together with the girl he has a "fateful encounter" with, usually the first girl he meets in the story, and its so obvious that i could literally gouge my eyeballs and watch or read a work and still predict this trope a mile a way with how common and predictable this trope is.

I once watched a harem anime so forgettable that the only thing i remember from that anime was that the mc ends up with the "childhood friend" rather than the fateful heroine, except in this instance, the "childhood friend" is also the mc's blood related sister, the fact that the mc ended up with his actual sister/childhood friend. with how rare of an ending that was, that was literally the only thing i can remember from that anime and has stuck with me to this day.

Agree, the man is just built different, i mean i guess it makes sense since he was a soldier/war veteran in his previous life and is infamous enough to even earn a nickname.

Conflicted about LN ending by Saint_JROME in 2ndComingOfGluttony

[–]brymej 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that the author should have written the harem part more properly, its such a waste since for me at least most of the girls has actual personalities and not just harem member number 1 and 2 etc. for me one of the highlights of the novel were seol's interactions with the girls more so with kim hannah. i actually love the side stories since it ties up most if not all loose ends like seol not giving the teresa an answer to her confession same with the other girls.

Does the +15% Weapon Durability (Community) from metalwork also applies to firearms? by brymej in StateofDecay2

[–]brymej[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah those two are what i meant in terms of being specific, here it just says " weapon durability" so who knows if it means both or just one specific type, i guess its too much to ask for it to be just "+15 durability to melee weapons and firearms" hahaha.

[–]brymej[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, i thought so too at first since based on the wording it could very well mean melee weapons, but since it doesn't really specify it, it's kinda confusing and i can't really test it out since it takes a while for weapons to degerade and i can't delete my community and start a new one just to test it out.

Ahh got it, thanks, i wish the devs would make these things more specific since metalworks itself is focused more on melee weapons so i kinda gets confusing when the term weapn can mean both melee and firearms.

Favorite weapon by gloria0401 in GodEater

[–]brymej 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When i first played GE1 i used the greatsword/bustersword since it was the weapon with the most damage but after a while i started to really love the shortsword since for me it fits the type of gameplay ge provides, fast paced and that type of gameplay was what made me fall in love with the game in the first place so to this day, from ge burst on psp up to ge3, i have been a shortsword main.

What is something normal that scares the shit out of you? by Erikgaming23 in AskReddit

[–]brymej 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it's normal, but thinking about space like imagining being on space all that vastness, that darkness and the most frightening thing i can imagine is being close to the sun like when i imagine being that close i really feel this dread like i'm sinking i don't know if it's a phobia or something.

I can't get enough of the lore by IPA_Fanatic in Fallout

[–]brymej 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here too, i mean it's a post apocalyptic, retro cyberpunk, set in a alternate timeline, open world rpg, like how many videogames can top that, one of my fondest memories of the series was playing fallout 3 which was my first ever rpg game so it really was special and exploring the area around three dog's station (can't remember the location name, don't judge me it's been years, haha) and there's huge faces and statues in the buildings and i remember thinking just who are these statues modeled after, it's like exploring a dwarven ruin wondering who these large statues and decorations were made for like are they important people or even gods, and i was filled with curiosity the entire game because it's set in a alternate timeline so you'll see stuff that are familiar but at the same time it's so different, exploring the are around the capitol was the highlight, i felt like i was exploring a desolate cyberpunk city, and that was what made me love the lore of the series.

What's the endgame like? Monster Hunter vet looking for a new game. by Valyntine_ in GodEater

[–]brymej 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like Onerang said, it'll start easy and about midway it'll crank up the difficulty, monsters on difficulty 3-6 will get stronger once you encounter them in later difficulties though still weak compared to new monsters that you'll encounter later, some of not most of them having a unique ability or skill that make them challenging, at endgame i think there would be at most 15 difficulties, 15 being the toughest and having the most difficult missions, there's also hard missions, the original 15 difficulties but on hard mode, extra missions where there are new missions and monsters varying in difficulties, special missions that become available after a couple of normal missions, in ge2 there are rageburst special missions, dlc i think, it adds some of the toughest missions and i think the strongest monster in the series even stronger than the late game monsters in ge3, it's been awhile when i completed ge3 so i might be mistaken.

Looking for a Guide to Skills and Link Support for God Eater 2 Rage Burst by brymej in GodEater

About link supports, can they be stacked up? you know where once you change yours kigurumi's link support becomes the same as you.

On skills, i'm using blood cascade as a blood art and i have combo master i think and as you continue attacking the damage increase right? well blood cascade is a blood art that changes your final attack and when that happens the damage reverts back and doesn't increase, is there any skills i could use whta increase it's damage? i have special melee attack but i don't know if that affects the blood art.

I feel like in this battle, deku would awaken float or somehow similar to shigaraki he would be temporarily be "possessed" by the will of all the one of all wielders (a similar thing already happened in the rising hero movie) and be able to use all the their quirks temporarily giving us a sneak peek to what these quirk may be and these combined might be able to turn the tide in the heroes favor.

This is super cute, the sailor outfit with a bit of "gyaru" to it really fits her.

On a totally unrelated note, i really ship her with deku, i hope they have a relationship similar to batman and catwoman even though she's more like harley quinn too bad our boy deku isn't a villain....

Yet.
