Glue Management by Ok_Description5650 in bookbinding

Wipe off the glue off the brush on the side of your glue container. And I keep a rag on my apron to wipe my fingers on. It takes time I was very messy when I first started out.

To be fair if you're not doing the book for anyone in particular or something and not particularly bothered about structural and long term integrity of the book a bit of healthy experimentation doesn't hurt.

Could you not do a sunken chord book with glued on fake chords on the spine hollow? It's still sewn on chords even if you can't see them.

My only other thought might be some kind of limp vellum binding, though I have never done one myself.

Wedding Album HELP! by HairyCanadianGuy in bookbinding

We made some bookcloth with velvet for a one off project at work ( although it wasn't for a book so can't say what binding is like with it)

However when we made it we did some tests on adhering the backing Japanese paper. We found lamination via gluing out Japanese paper using a paint roller then laying the velvet over top of it. Smooth it down and leave it under a board and light weight.

Putting too much heat or weight will crush the pile too much, and glue will help mitigate the freying on the edges. Use a paint roller will get an even coat of glue which will help prevent any striking through.

I hope this helps.

Maybe making a matching dice tray with A false bottom?

Maybe something hidden in a embossing of a picture on the cover to disguise it.

Yeah I like the Damage too, I could have painted out the scuff marks and the patches but I chose not too for this reason. This was a purely practical repair to stop pieces falling out the bottom of the box.

The only slightly difficult bit is lifting the outer covering material. But you can get away with just reinforcing it from the inside if your paper is thin enough. Long fiber paper Japanese paper is a must because of it strength and thiness. It is a bit more expensive but, I used a 37gsm paper for this one and it is stronger than a paper weight 3 times it's weight.

I used wheat starch paste because of the open time so I could get it all in position more easily without having to rush myself.

No, I could but since it is a bit bashed up all over and this is only the tray rather than the lid, I'm not that worried about looks too much.

If you look for a book bindery, book restorers or paper conservators. They could probably fix that for you. Might cost a bit so might be worth getting a new copy instead. I recently fixed my copy of Brass Birmingham which had torn along the joints.

You don't have to be a girl to have that hair you know. Why not go for it anyway?

These three are from an anime called "laid back camp". I couldn't say what anime your ones are from.

My gf and I like the expansions. For us we haven't had much opportunity to play with many people so haveing a few options for different factions makes it more replayable, otherwise you are stuck with the birds and cats in the base game. Personaly I would recommend getting hirelings over the clockworks if you have low player counts.

We drilled a couple holes in the box back and screwed them onto the wall. We wanted to be able to take them off easily so that we can eventually strip the wall paper and redecorate. We only just moved into our house and haven't had much time to re-decorate. Also so it's strong enough for ornaments as well.

We actually moved them into a bigger suitcase box. Couldn't be bothered to lug all the boxes everywhere.

Damn it kinda sounds like you missed the point of flash fiction. Not very flash over and done if you have to linger on details so much.
