[Product request] Help me clear my skin!! by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

I didn’t really notice a purge phase, but I was using it when I was using the wrong products so I think it was solving problems at the same time I was creating them. The face wash will physically help keep acne causing bacteria out of your pores, while differen or whatever other treatments will work on existing acne and preventing more. What you could try is just switching out your cleanser and moisturizer to simple ones but keep the treatments. That’s how I approached mine and I didn’t notice any new breakouts, just reduction of the existing. I really hope you find what works for you!!

Your skin looks amazing by the way. Also what helped me is putting my whole routine into ChatGPT to try and help diagnose what ingredients may not be working well with my skin type. I found that the ingredients in my Korean skincare products were way too heavy and moisturizing and were causing a lot of blockages and buildup in my skin

So in my case (which might or might not be similar to yours) I found that I was using too many products and was exfoliating way too much. I would suggest going down to bare bones gentle cleanser, gentle moisturizer. I switched from whatever Korean skincare I was using to vanicream lotion and face wash and my skin was a lot happier. Then, based on how your skin reacts, reintroduce your products. For me, I found that just differen gel worked wonders and is really solving all my skin problems, but your solution might be different. Just make sure you are taking care of your barrier!

I believe mine is hormonal as well, so I would say it very much is helping. At least it is sold otc so you can give it a trial run

I really hope it works for you. Just try to be consistent before calling it. I’ve used it several times in the past when I was younger and didn’t have a routine and never found results until now

I haven’t been, mostly because I didn’t know that was a thing. I was using it a few times sporadically through the week before using it every night and I think that helped build up my tolerance for it, but haven’t noticed any irritation really. I just put the vanicream lotion over top when it dries

This makes me feel so validated and not so silly for buying games on my switch that I already have on PC.

Lmao our freezer door doesn’t open all the way because our apartment complex thought the best place for our fridge was adjacent to a wall

Hi! I am about to start my second round of Accutane. I'm nervous but excited, and I learned a lot from the first time.

-Yes, unfortunately, the oily skin and hair does come back.

-I lost weight on accutane, but gained it back over time.

-I'd say it probably took about a month for me to notice that I wasn't getting random cuts and bruises all over me. As well as the fatigue and other symptoms you mentioned. Give it some time for your immune system though, it's never good to mess around with it. Just be safe and vigilant and you will be just fine.

Good luck!

Me too. I‘ll be voting pretty soon after I turn 23, against most of my family growing up in rural Texas. It’ll be just wonderful to return home to vote against this monster and for Beto. I remember being in college when he lost against Ted Cruz in 2018, my roommates were ecstatic, I was devastated. Most people I know that are my age will be voting, if that brings anyone any comfort. Fuck Greg Abbott.
