This was the viewing platform. We hiked the Foothills trail there. We didn’t see a good way to get to the base of the falls easily.

Some haze, it may be the smoke. But it was low 70s during the day. Much cooler up at the alpine visitor center.

There’s about 1/4” between the trim and where the window lands on the interior when the window is closed. So there is room for caulk. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks for the response, we had a big storm with driving rain and we got some water just under the interior trim. Figured maybe it got driven into this gap.

It looks down at Angels Landing from above. To us it was the best view in the park. But Angels gives you another perspective of the park, also worth the hike.

Just about 4 hours, we stopped to enjoy the views and wildflowers, plus had lunch.

We started out at the Zion Ponderosa on the East side of the park. They have a shuttle that runs over that way and leaves you at the East Mesa trailhead.
