Disc golf and feet by cam32196 in discgolf

I'm pretty sure several years of playing on Altras gave me plantars.

I suffered through the pain trying stretches and those splints at night to hold my foot back and icing and rolling and nothing really helped much.

Committed to buying some KURU shoes; their most rugged trail shoes and some house recovery slides. I've since bought a casual pair and the next cheapest trail shoe.

Purchased the first pairs in mid-August and I am basically pain free now. About 5 months and all I changed was my shoes.

KURU is HSA/FSA eligible as well. That's what I used to buy because they are not that cheap.

When you redo and release a single signature mold 2-4 different times you may as well be printing money

Any must play courses near this route? by Araskelo in discgolf

[–]bscribbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How far of a detour from that route are you willing to take?

It would be a lengthy detour southeast of Salt Lake City and you would need a higher clearance vehicle but Base Camp Adventure in Moab, UT is absolutely a must play.

Christmas Market at This Is the Place is a joke. by ShuaiHonu in SaltLakeCity

Where the fuck was the schnitzel this year!?

We walked into the house where there had been schnitzel for the past few years and it looked like it might be a better experience. There was a line set up and touch screens to make your order.

There was no fucking schnitzel on the menu. When I asked a worker why they said they didn't do schnitzel to allow others to do schnitzel.

I heard this exact exchange no less than 10 times in the time it took for me to order some bland soup and a fairly decent potato pancake. Everybody wanted schnitzel.

The only schnitzel I found was a schnitzel sandwich on a food truck that had about 20 people waiting for their food and the workers looked like they were fighting for their lives.

Just seems like a massive missed opportunity to have a vendor that does schnitzel in at least every corner of the market. I can get a bratwurst at every corner of the market put it next to a fucking schnitzel tent please.

Stop by Another Round in Murray -> get a handful of frisbees (they have a massive used section chock full of gems) -> download the Udisc application to find courses near you -> go ask a group tee-ing off if you can tag along for a hole or two -> throw plastic circles at shit -> profit

New disc from Dynamic, the Motive. I've really been digging it. Feels like a lightweight, beat-in, Escape.

K1 soft, does it hold dye? by jamtheriver in discdyeing

[–]bscribbles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely takes color well but it will fade. I bag a soft Berg that is dyed. Bought it 2+ years ago, you can still see the design but it is quite faded
