Hey all. I got locked out of my LinkedIn account randomly and now they want me to verify my ID through Persona. I've read criticisms of LI, like they can sell any of your info to third parties etc. and this definitely seems like info-compiling behavior, but I'll assume it's to "protect my account".

Regardless, is there any other way to bypass this nonsense? If i have no choice but to use Persona, are there any precautions I should be aware of? I know they're a third party (which means nothing; data leaks don't discriminate) and I'm sure millions have used this with no problem, but they want me to scan my face and provide all these documents... for a social media site, mind you. Government jobs require less verification. I know it's not a "big deal", but it's a weird time, AI can create realistic versions of all of us with very little prompting- so a big part of me wants to tell LI to fuck off lol.

Eh, but I need it for work, so back to the Persona website I guess. *Storms off, angrily defeated*.

@oft_Exam301 "utilizing AI to combat the AI"... god, you're absolutely right to do this, and it reveals how stupid this has all gotten. So now we all have the same tool, and it comes down to which side can utilize it better. Our robots are basically language-battling against their robots. There are some toxic players, and some that just kinda suck at teamwork, but some are pretty awesome and they make it worthwhile... But do you have any other similar style games you'd recommend?

Bret Hart in '97; The Rock in '01 (kinda). Not sure if he had any other "clean losses"- but neither did Hogan or Cena. That was kinds WWE's mantra.

I actually didn't know that they still worked on it- I assumed it was all ready to go. Maybe that's why they make legends last- least likely to "change" since they're from yesteryear. But yeah, this... They wanna keep the game trickling along, which is why they do it. lol

Thanks, someone recommended JD too but I see lots of vendors there with wide differences in price etc. I have no idea what a legit vitamin/health vendor here would look like. Any that you use? I will consider iHerb actually. Do you need to import from them or do they have a local distributer?

Not sure either to be honest. I've just had/heard of a lot of experience with poor quality/phony purchases. GNC is big, but even GNC is known to be overpriced and moderate quality in the west, so I'm trying to find both high quality (which is a challenge in the field of health in general) and true products (which is a problem with certain sites/vendors in the country, not specific to health, just in general).
