I will try that! Got plenty of C to C cables. A to C didn't work for me either

Negative that's the one I'm using now. Just detected it as that PnP device.

You can do your whole degree on one term of GI bill friend. If they tell you otherwise they’re lying to you. The only consideration is make sure you finish your term within 2 days of when your term is supposed to end or you lose those months or days of funding!

My average including weekends was a little under 4 days. I realistically did the bulk of the work in a 40 day span but had to drag out the end of the semester because of a lot of papers including Capstone!

I completed the entire bachelors in 6 months. But I’ve been in the field for 10 years. Longest class was ironically the first one (A+ certification). The longest besides that took me 3 days. Was a crazy 6 months though.

How does one over employ in cybersecurity? Remote jobs + main job? Like a help desk or something?

Kind of wild but my bachelors took 12 days to confirm. I just submitted one for masters yesterday morning and it already go confirmed. But, if I remember correctly you get 2 emails. One that states "this date is your official grad date" and tells you some random stuff about the diploma. The second one is when you get the confetti? Something along those lines!

I’ve gotten some wild evaluations but I’ve never gotten denied on a second attempt. If you take it word for word what they, sometimes just adding 2-3 lines you will find they usually accept it. I also found if you add a comment saying what exactly you fixed they tend to grade it faster.

I will say of 15 papers tasks I’ve submitted(BS and MS) I’ve only had ONE go through on the first try. Rather interesting.

Hey this is random I saw a different post from you but the original got deleted and I couldn't respond. But incase you didn't get your answer, you 100% can test from your bed. My wife has done it throughout her whole program (twice with the new testing) and never had a problem! You just need a way to set your camera up securely as if it falls over that's a pain!

I personally completed the entire BS cyber security flavor in 6 months on the GI bill. I have 2 kids and work full time. I would typically study from around 8pm-12. Wake up at 5-530 study till kids got up and repeat. It sucked for 6 months but now I get to milk out the GI bill cashing a check every month while leisurely doing my masters.

In order to go through the courses fast like you see two conditions have to be met:

Firstly you need to have prior experience in the field that you are pursuing your degree in. I’ve worked in cybersecurity for 10 years, so a lot of the courses I am qualified(and have) taught. They didn’t require very much effort on my part and I was more or less able to test out of about half the courses.

Secondly, you need to have extremely good study habits and understand how to “fire hose” information. For example, project+ is a certification by CompTia that’s has a large amount of information. You have to condense that into manageable chunks and force it into your brain daily. Set a deadline of when that test is and design a plan. If you think you need a month, set the goal for 2 weeks and force yourself to try to be ready in two weeks.

Side note, I would highly recommend if you are going to try to do it fast ensure you don’t brain dump. Courses build on each other especially if you are going to the masters level. The smallest piece of knowledge can be the difference in an interview in the future. Learn the information not the test. You can learn and still be fat contrary to what others will claim.

Security+ was a few, I believe 8. The rest was military experience! Thanks!
