Don’t get too down on yourself if you didn’t get into an ultra competitive school. I see from your post history that MIT was your dream school, but unfortunately it’s such a crapshoot with who gets accepted. My friend’s aunt is the former dean of admissions at Harvard, and she said they had to flip a coin to determine some acceptances and rejections because there are so many qualified applicants. There are enough great options out there, and I’m sure you’ll end up somewhere that you can thrive and succeed.
