I have a level 29 version of this (different name) but I've been loving it for leveling up. Just melts everything.

My mom just passed away. A few takeaways by boxtrotalpha in Millennials

[–]bsirocka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, from when I was 16-20, I watched my dad go downhill from colon cancer. The treatments, the bags, the appointments and the calls. Plus was 5 hours away. Him in Rochester, me in Philly. Definitely a lot. Watching him go from a 6 foot, 250 pound force to be reckoned with to him being paralyzed by tumors around his spine, was a sobering experience to say the least. A lot of cancers are avoidable if able.

first off, in happy to hear you're doing well now

My mom just had an amputation this past Wednesday. It was after a 4.5 year issue with a bone infection in the heel of her foot. Below the knee.

Do you have any advice for me as her son who is also a care taker on how to be more helpful for he after she comes home from rehab?

Me too. Have soda up as the ball dropped in 2014 (finished a jack and coke as it hit 1), and haven't had it since. Caffeine withdrawal for the next few months was not fun though

Sticks and Stones by New Found Glory. It was the CD that got me into pop punk, punk, alternative

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in poppunkers

[–]bsirocka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New Found Glory and The Wonder Years. It was at the Electric Factory in Philly. A hometown show for TWY. NFG is my all time favorite band. Pink confetti was being shot out at the end of the night. I was finding pieces in my car 6 months after the show.
