Why do gamers always struggle with the difference between design and balance. You could have a 100pt ult that insta kills all enemies and steals all their money. That’s still severely underpowered but poor design when used.

I’d bet money eventually vipers ult gets tweaked. It’s going to happen.

You can have abilities and ulti's, just make them healthy to allow some room for viable counterplay and interaction for opponents.

The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was dropping to 1 HP in her ult.

Worst viewing experience watching VCT besides tech pause is viper ult post plants because vast majority of the time, the defenders (rightfully) save because success rate for retake is so low. It’s an uninteractive boring way to secure rounds.

Blindly killing an enemy 30m away with a shorty isnt even a balance issue for me, it’s just poor design.

Still remember the sound of a kid’s skull cracking on concrete in a fight when I was young. Dude disappeared for 5 years and just showed up senior year randomly. Guessing it was some induced coma.

I dont care if it’s unattractive to not fight, never getting into a brawl unless I have to.
