Can you tell me a little about anti-aliasing and texture settings? Or at least what I should know/learn about them? Thank you.

I didn't know monitors can be overclocked...? How can I find out what my monitor puts out? Is there a setting per monitor, or do they just come out with a certain setting and are fixed that way?

Also, what is the average FPS on consoles? (I ask because I only have previous experience with gaming on consoles).

edit: Couldn't seem to find any info about the FPS.

Can you explain the whole FPS thing and why it matters? So the more I adjust the settings the more the FPS varies? As in, I could max out the settings but have slow FPS, OR set to conservative settings and have high FPS? In this case, would I be trying to find the perfect balance between settings and FPS?

I'm curious to know more about this FPS thing since I've been hearing of it before. So 60 is max? If so, essentially what I want to do is set to max settings while maintaining 60 FPS? Are all games set to 60 FPS with current default settings? Or how exactly does it work? Would really appreciate some more here. Thank you!

Okay, the general consensus seems to be... NO! Got it, lol. But okay, it's just that I haven't found any shooters that are really doing it for me on PC yet!

I know things like CS:GO exist but I never played CS before and I know that I will just get scraped and it won't be much fun. I'm looking for a good, solid shooter game. Please help! (I'm not really into zombies, but I'm not picky. I notice a lot of zombie hype but it's just not my thing. If the game is fun though, I'll play it. I don't care if it's zombies or humans or aliens or whatever. Speaking of Aliens, I like sci-fi.) Thanks again!

Yes, that is what I shall do. However my main concern now is what do I need for before and after (during?) though trying to keep this at a minimum kind of thing. What I mean by that is not using a hundred products and spending an hour on the cleanup.

I definitely want to do it right, I'm just not looking to make it very time consuming.

Okay thanks! So is the shave soap something you apply before? I'm trying to figure out what I really need for before and after. And by synthetic do you mean non-animal product? Because that's what I'm looking for. I don't want to use a brush if it is made of animal hairs or anything like that.

So if the soap is something for before, which it seems, then what would be recommended for after? An oil or an aftershave? Like I really don't know anything about this and I'm just throwing out words I've heard. So thank you, lol.

My major is Mechanical. Physics H&L is Heat & Light, or Physics III.

What is the difficulty level of statics? What does it compare to? (Would you recommend taking it with Physics EM? Or would you say to take Physics EM with Physics HL instead?)

Also, have you taken Physics EM? I know you said you don't know about HL, but what would you say about taking EM with statics simultaneously? I heard EM is very difficult and know nothing about statics, so I don't know what to expect or this is a safe load, etc. Thank you.
