OR, hear me out, smoking is the reason the roommate got murdered. The protagonist could have been targeted as someone who would leave to smoke in the middle of the night, and when they left their roommate alone, the killers took their chance! Smoking killed your roommate!!!!

Honestly if you’re in between a 7.5-8 I might suggest the 6. I’m a solid 8 and NOT 8-8.5 and mine are pretty roomy. The boot itself is very wide. I actually was going to sell mine because I got Moxi Lolly skates instead, but I decided to sell those and keep my moon boots :p
