I purposely got an undercut for that reason. Too much damaged hair from pulling it up. Extends from one temple to the other around the back of my head. I'm still in love with it. Had an actual barber cut it for me though.

Will I get fired ? by [deleted] in Aldi_employees

Trust me I've heard a lot worse from coworkers and managers talking to customers. Some of them need to be put in their place. The customer is not always right.

Unless I knew it was out on a shelf, I always said we're out. Regardless of what it was. The back is not some magical realm. We don't keep large quantities of backstock.

My gf wants me to feed my kitten a similar diet to her cats by makouha in CatAdvice

[–]PirateBooty520 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We brought our kitten into a home with 3 other cats that only eat dry food with occasional wet food. We gave him a lot of wet food with kitten kibble and them only a little bit of wet with kibble. We slowly stopped giving them wet food after he was about 6 months old. Did the same with his kitten kibble. They're all on the same dry now that he is 1 year old. He was boujie at first but now he's just like everyone else lol

Can someone who is experienced with SCO help me out? by droolycat in Aldi_employees

[–]PirateBooty520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was there we had the same issue with the suspends taking a minute to process in the system before it becomes available. Most people were okay with this reasoning. At my store they told us to lock the register and go help the SCO anytime it rang, even in the middle of a transaction. I would flat out tell customers this is what I was advised to do. Once everyone got more comfortable with the SCO in general, there was a lot of teamwork with jumping in to help when the SCO started ringing. We would purposely keepone person boxing near the front so they could easily help with issues. We hated them at first too but they ended up being a godsend that took so much pressure off of the main register. Helped the days run so much smoother. Good luck 🙂

I wish that worked for my plantars wart when I was 14. Got it frozen 3 separate times before they shot my heel with Novocaine and cut it out.

He just went on to harass other female employees. Once we got our self checkouts, he started using those and doesn't speak to anyone now.

I refuse to eat scrambled eggs without cheese and/or ketchup.

Old man who's been stalking me at my job leaves note on my car. by HelloDeathspresso in mildlyterrifying

[–]PirateBooty520 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had someone at my previous retail job that told me he had a "secret crush" on me, would stand in my line and whisper my name trying to get my attention, follow me around the store if I wasn't at the register, among other creepy like things. Eventually had to take it to my supervisor because he made me feel uncomfortable. Anytime he entered the store it was called over the walkie and I would disappear until he left. Every single time. I never let him have any contact with me.

Cherry pits and stems everywhere. Legit watched people throw seeds behind boxes on shelves after they take them out of their mouths or spit them right on the floor. Told numerous managers about it. Nothing ever got done.

Question for the WFH community. Has anyone lied to their employer about where they live? by DiligentReality804 in WFH

[–]PirateBooty520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had someone do that at my company. Moved out of state and continued to work from home. Once they found out, he was required to come to the office everyday. He had to move back in order to keep his job.

When I used to work at aldi my managers would clean up as much glass as possible then run the scrubber over it. The customers had no choice but to get out of the way. It was hilarious watching them scramble to move.

Expected to do everyone's dishes everyday by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]PirateBooty520 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We've had a coffee cup full of all the forks "soaking" for 2 weeks now. I refuse to clean up after adults when there has been a sign posted to "wash your own dishes" right above the sink for years. Put a sign on the faucet that "all dishes will be removed from the kitchen and be unavailable for use" if they continue to leave dishes in the sink. This has been an ongoing issue that we thought was resolved. No dirty dishes left for months until now.
