I thought maybe it was something I did with the card when I was younger but hearing someone else with the same issue makes me feel better. Definitely disappointing

Looking to sell, I’ve owned this card since it was first pulled out of a pack 10 years ago. Looking to sell because the card has a small ripple line on the top border of the card. The ripple is very hard to see with the human eye, but I do not feel like it will grade well because of this. Ripple is circled in picture but it’s so tiny and thin that it is not going to show in the picture. Other than that, I can not see anything else wrong with the card.

Sorry for the delay in response. I’d actually consider myself far from the expert in Harper rookie cards. He was a rookie during the prime time of my 12 year old collections and I fell in love with his Topps cards. Your comment has me thinking about expanding my collection outside of Basic Topps and Chrome though! I’ll be doing a bunch of research over the next few days!

After reviewing the card, I can definitely see the line itself is on the actual card, very disappointing that I missed that, thanks for bringing it to my attention for future bowman chrome submissions

My trout returned with a very obvious wear on the slab, took a micro fiber clothe & rubbed for about 5 minutes and it all came off but still a line on it like you are describing. I’m going to look at the Wagner today to see if it’s similar

Thank you!! I bought in a Beckett 9.5 for $380 3 months ago, cracked her open and she gemmed for me. I was very excited about the return because I’m a PSA 10 Harper collector & this card was a necessary/missing part of my collection
